<p><span>Dr. Dheen Mohamed is a Professor of Comparative Religion at CIS. He was previously a Professor and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at Qatar University. He has also taught at the International Islamic University in Pakistan, where he was the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Head of the Department of Comparative Religion. He is Sri Lankan-born, where he did his initial Islamic studies before enrolling at Al-Azhar University in Cairo and earning his bachelor's and master's degrees, followed by his doctorate in comparative religion.</span></p>
